Painting by Bianco is a California licensed painting company that offers full service house painting for jobs of all types and sizes, interior and exterior. Whether it be new construction, a remodel, or just freshening up a room, we focus on high quality work to meet your needs.
We are unique in that owner, Sarah Bianco, is a contractor and fine artist specializing in artistic decorative paint finishes of all kinds. This includes but not limited to faux finishes, decorative plaster treatments, murals, cabinet & furniture refinishing, fine art commissions, and interior design & color consultations. She is an expert in color matching and combining, has an impeccable eye for detail, and is meticulous in her execution.
We are located in Santa Cruz, California and have worked all over the Bay Area and beyond.
PROCESS
After we have been contacted, an appointment is made to come see the project in person. Sarah will take time to discuss your vision and scope and provide a free estimate by email. If you decide to work with us, another appointment is made for a complimentary color consultation. At this point a deposit will be received and Sarah will support the color decision process. For decorative finishes, sample boards are imperative, so Sarah will take time to provide custom samples (usually up to 3 per room). Once design and color choices are confirmed, we get you on our schedule!
SARAH BIANCO
Sarah was born and raised in the Chicago area, relocated to the Bay Area as a teen, and moved to Santa Cruz to attend UCSC. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art in 2002, Sarah decided to take her skills of drawing and painting and apply them commercially. Always having interest in interior design and color, combined with a do-it-yourself attitude and work ethic, Sarah started working for a house painter then to create Painting by Bianco in 2004.
Sarah enjoys working closely with the client to create a customized design and color scheme that is transformational for the space. Sometimes only a subtle change is needed to dramatically change the feeling and energy of a room or home. Unlike most house painters, Sarah has the ability to guide the whole process, from choosing color and material to performing a professional, high quality job with the utmost respect for the home and family. Being a fine artist, she brings a unique quality and fresh eye to any project.
